Our Concept
Is your school giving you everything you need?
Time is precious to everyone in today's modern world. We all have jobs or study to do and it is often difficult to find space for the learning that we know we have to do.
At Individual English, we maximise your learning time so that you have the time to get on with the important things in your life. We believe that being in a class full of 10 students is just a waste of time and money.
In order to do this, we structure our courses differently from the traditional school.
Personal interaction is fundamental to this concept.
We are all different as people and our classes and content reflect that. This means that the course has to fit the student, rather than trying to get the students to fit the course. We will build up your confidence in your English speaking ability with individual attention.
Improving your pronunciation is of the utmost importance to us, and takes a prominent role in all courses. We also offer courses focused strictly on pronunciation.
We don’t just ‘do’ theory. Theory is okay but it is of no use just in your head. It won’t get you anywhere. We bring out the theory so that you can use it in real life.
Our job is to find you the easiest, quickest and most enjoyable way of learning English. We want people to leave our classes ready and eager to continue developing their English.
That's Professional Personal Development.
Personal English will keep you motivated like no other English teaching organisation, and we can do this because we are original.
This originality manifests itself in our use of information technology. With a computer, specially devised teaching materials (Video, Audio and Written) are always at hand. We can have maximum control over your progress on the courses and can offer supreme flexibility.
As a Personal English student, you can choose to record your entire class and we will deliver that to you at the end of the class as an optimised mp3 (or in any format you choose) so that you can listen to the class again anytime you want. We find that this method really helps in pronunciation, an area where so many students have problems.
